The Bundeswehr moved into the Pasing Arcaden in Munich for two months. The aim of the pilot project was to draw attention to the Bundeswehr as an employer. For the Bundeswehr this is a new opportunity for recruitment, as potential new recruits were advised in the pop-up shop by a Bundeswehr career advisor. During the two-month rental period from November 2019 to January 2020, various additional theme weeks took place, for example, various units from the region around Munich presented themselves.
New ways of recruiting
All branches of the Bundeswehr were presented during the entire campaign period. In addition, interested parties were able to experience situations from everyday life in the Bundeswehr in a 3D simulator and marvel at a real jet ejection seat on site. Part of the pop-up shop was also a recruiting center for job interviews.
